Frequently Asked Questions

You can request that Support Coordination be included during your NDIS planning meeting. If you are currently unsure about your options, give us a call, we can discuss your specific situation and guide you on how to request this support.

No. Support Coordination is funded separately within your NDIS plan and does not reduce the funding allocated for your other core supports.

Plan Management: This is a financial service. A Plan Manager takes care of the administrative side: paying service providers, tracking your budget, and providing financial reports.

Support Coordination: This is a capacity-building service. A Support Coordinator helps you understand your plan, connects you with the right service providers, and helps you achieve your personal goals.

We act as your advocate and guide, working behind the scenes to make the NDIS easier to navigate. Our role includes:

  • Provider Sourcing: Helping you identify and connect with service providers that align with your needs.

  • Capacity Building: Teaching you how to exercise choice and control over your supports.

  • Reporting: Preparing end-of-plan reports for the NDIA to ensure your next plan reflects your needs and goals.

  • Monitoring: Ensuring your service providers are delivering high-quality, "reasonable and necessary" support and keeping your budget on track.

You can check your NDIS plan document under the "Capacity Building" budget. If it is included, it will be clearly labeled as "Support Coordination" (Level 1, 2, or 3).

If your plan does not currently include Support Coordination, you still have options. You can request a plan review or a change of circumstances if your needs have shifted. Please contact us; we can assist you in understanding the process and help you prepare to request this support in the future.

Level 2 (Support Coordination): Focuses on building your ability to connect with supports and maintain your NDIS plan.

Level 3 (Specialist Support Coordination): Designed for participants with more complex needs or high-risk situations. Specialists often with Allied Health backgrounds provide intensive, clinical-level oversight to ensure your support system is working efficiently, safely, and cohesively.

This is a recovery-oriented service for participants living with psychosocial disabilities. We focus on your strengths to help you build resilience, increase daily living skills, and boost your confidence. Rather than just managing tasks, we work with you to foster autonomy and empower you to live the life you choose.
